Tangiers Birquq Shisha 250g Now with Melon
If you're looking to jump into the world of Tangiers shisha tobacco the Birquq line is a great start. These hand crafted blends come from California and utilize dark leaf tobacco to create remarkable flavors with great longevity. The Birquq (m-line) collection has a lower nicotine content than the standard Tangiers flavors, but still provides a stronger buzz against most of the modern shisha brands.
Tangiers packs all of their shisha inside a double packed air sealed pouch and we recommend the use of a shisha container for proper storage. Each flavor receives a quality assurance check and a holographic sticker of assurance, plus each label is handwritten.
How To Smoke Tangiers Shisha Tobacco
Tangiers is the only brand we carry that requires a particular bowl style in order to achieve the desired session. You could theoretically toss this shisha in any bowl and light up coals some coals for a quick smoke, but the flavor and performance may not be seen as an ideal experience to the trained smoker. There are two terms to remember when it comes time to load up some Tangiers, dense pack and phunnel bowl.
The recommended bowl for a traditional Tangiers session is a phunnel bowl like the Tangiers Phunnel, 80 ft,Rook, etc. Once you've moved your shisha from the plastic bag to a container, use an oyster fork for a cleaner packing session or just reach in with your hands and start packing. Using a sprinkle pack method with this particular shisha can result in lower flavor output and a harsh inhale. so take your time if this is your first attempt. The recommended dense pack involves filling the interior ring with a loose pack and then apply pressure to create a firm but breathable foundation. Once this is complete you'll add more shisha while still applying the same pressure until you reach the interior rim, in most cases you can turn your bowl upside down and nothing should fall out. Before you apply your heat management device (foil, lotus, provost) make sure the pack is even and when you poke holes with foil make sure to poke through to the shisha to create small air pockets. We recommend the use of natural hookah charcoal for all Tangiers sessions and we often use the Cocobrico flats and cube charcoal atop of our foil.
